Terms

Service scope

PolicyPatch provides practical privacy checks and visible website/privacy fixes for NZ businesses handling indirect collection. Services include the IPP3A Readiness Check, the Indirect Collection Fix Pack, and optional Privacy Officer Basics Support.

Exclusions

  • legal advice or legal sign-off;
  • complex enterprise privacy architecture;
  • cyber-security incident response;
  • high-complexity regulated or highly sensitive environments; and
  • work that falls outside the agreed practical service scope.

No legal advice

PolicyPatch provides practical implementation support. Not legal advice.

Payment terms

Pricing is based on the agreed service and scope. Work that requires payment will usually begin only after the price and service path are confirmed and payment has been received where required.

Turnaround expectations

Timing depends on the service, the website, and how quickly the required information is supplied. PolicyPatch aims for a clear practical process, but turnaround can change if the setup proves more complex than first expected.

Client responsibilities

  • provide accurate information about the business and website;
  • provide the links, context, and access reasonably needed for the agreed work;
  • check business-specific details before implementation goes live; and
  • respond in a reasonable time where replies affect delivery.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PolicyPatch is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. PolicyPatch’s total liability in relation to a specific engagement is limited to the amount paid for that engagement.

Changes

PolicyPatch may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
